Negotiating internally with partners, section heads, management, associates, and even our own staff may be our toughest ongoing negotiations. Yet our professional success depends on being able to achieve our goals in these contexts. Of course, most of us do this instinctively or intuitively. This session - led by negotiation expert and Trusted Advisor Marty Latz - will provide us with the proven strategies to most effectively engage with our internal stakeholders. And we will share real-life examples of such strategies that work - and that don't work.

About The Speaker:

Marty Latz ABC News’ Good Morning America anchor George Stephanopoulos has called Marty Latz “one of the most accomplished and persuasive negotiators I know.” The founder of Latz Negotiation, a national negotiation training and consulting firm, Latz also taught negotiation as an Adjunct Professor of Law at Arizona State University’s College of Law from 1995 to 2005.

Since 1995, Latz has taught over 100,000 lawyers and business professionals around the world how to more effectively negotiate – including in Hong Kong, London, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Prague, Brussels, Seoul and Bangkok - and has negotiated for The White House nationally and internationally on The White House Advance Teams.
