Aisha Greene is the Director of Attorney Development and Training at Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP. In her role, she oversees the Firm’s Attorney Development, Training, Diversity, and Pro Bono/Corporate Social Responsibility Departments. Aisha works with the firm’s management to develop and oversee firm professional development programming, including the formal assignment systems, partner and associate mentoring programs, upward and downward attorney performance evaluations, diversity programs, pro bono and corporate social responsibility initiatives, and all formal training and Continuing Legal Education programs.

Aisha also serves on the Board of Directors for the Rohan Levy Foundation, a non-profit organization that seeks to eradicate gun violence in Brooklyn, New York.

Aisha holds a B.A., magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa from New York University and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Aisha lives in Brooklyn, New York with her husband and two daughters.

What is the most daring thing you’ve ever done (professionally or personally

  • I’ve done trapeze class a number of times with family and friends. Always with a net so maybe not that daring.

Who would play you in the movie of your life?

  • I’ve always been told that Phyllis Yvonne Stickney looks a lot like me and I would want her to play me because she has the nicest skin I’ve ever seen and doesn’t seem to age

What is the best book you have read in the last year? 

  • Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi – beautifully written and such history and richness. 

What would you sing at Karaoke night?  

  • Probably a 90s rap song. Not probably – definitely. Any 90s rap song

If you were a superhero, what powers would you have?  

  • I would want the ability to absorb other peoples powers or to be invisible. 

What is your favorite family tradition?  

  • My husband and I have hosted Thanksgiving at our home for 14 consecutive years. We love it. We have had as many as 40 family members at once. I live in NYC so the house was packed. 

What would you attempt to do if you knew you couldn’t fail?

  • Skydive. I want to do it but really scared

If your house were to catch on fire and you had to grab just one thing, what would it be

  • Besides a family member? My dresser filled with my journals. 

What is the best vacation you have ever taken?  

  • My 40th birthday – I went to Asia and visited, Shanghai, Thailand and Cambodia. A dream come true. 

Favorite guilty pleasure.  

  • Listening to podcasts that talk about celebrity gossip and other mindless chatter.
