Please join us for a discussion of the integrative relationships among professional development, leadership, diversity, and inclusion. We will discuss your role as PD professional and law firm leader, with a focus on the importance of recognizing, understanding, and appreciating your impact, opportunities, and responsibilities as a key player in advancing your organization’s leadership development, diversity, and inclusion objectives. We will explore these issues from the perspectives of 1) you as an individual leader in your organization, 2) you as a teacher/coach of the lawyers and future leaders in your organization, and 3) you as a member of a leadership team working together to advance your firm’s goals. We will start with examination of your own awareness and competence as it relates to leadership, diversity and inclusion. Then, we will discuss your role in training and equipping others. Finally, we will discuss effective teaming across areas of responsibility. Throughout the discussions, we will emphasize the interrelatedness of these concepts and their critical importance to effective global and inclusive business operations.
