Performance Evaluations: How Can You Help?

Partners in many firms will soon deliver annual evaluations to associates and counsel. Are your partners prepared? Will they motivate your strongest performers? Will the tough messages they intend to deliver be the messages that are actually received? Are they ready to offer concrete suggestions about future development instead of “Keep doing what you’re doing.” And when they ask you for advice about how to handle a difficult situation, what will you say?

If your partners have already delivered annual evaluations, how did they go? And how can you help with the follow-up?

This program for PD professionals will offer practical tips for helping partners to structure effective evaluation meetings, avoid common pitfalls, generate constructive dialogue, deliver clear messages, including when significant improvement is required, and follow-up effectively.

The program will be led by Trusted Advisor Tim Leishman.
