One year into the pandemic, we have all had to spend time thinking about mental health – not just our own, but that of our loved ones, friends, co-workers, and colleagues. As vaccines become more widely available and we start to emerge from physical isolation, we are learning just how significant the toll has been on our mental health and well-being. What’s more, we now know that mental health challenges will continue to factor into our overall well-being for some time to come as we continue to process the collective traumas of the last year.

Join Trusted Advisor Jessie Spressart of Optia Consulting as she shares some of the latest data about how our mental health has been affected by the pandemic and remote work, and how we can continue to support each other and those with whom we work. She will offer insights into spotting signs of distress in a remote work context, why we need to get comfortable with uncomfortable emotions (and how to get started), and how to approach conversations with others about mental health. Jessie will also provide a peek into the National Council on Behavioral Health’s Mental Health First Aid Certification program and discuss how MHFA can be deployed in firms to benefit attorneys and business professionals.
