Workplaces and communities are demanding heightened awareness, capacity and accountability around diversity, equity and inclusion issues. While many of us hold egalitarian views and values, social science research informs us that we all carry implicit biases that influence our decision-making and relationships.

This interactive workshop will help participants develop a deeper understanding of the unconscious biases we all have and specific strategies to address them. The facilitators will lead interactive presentations and exercises to raise awareness about where biases come from – essentially, a form of mental shortcut that we all engage in – as well as a discussion of stereotypes that each of us has encountered in the way we are viewed by others.

Participants will be invited to share, through an anonymous, confidential pre-program e-survey, challenging topics and scenarios they have encountered related to implicit bias and stereotyping for potential inclusion in the program.

To preserve the interactivity and inclusiveness of the program, this program will be capped at 45 participants and will not be recorded.  This Webinar is availible to PDC Members only. We are sorry for any inconvenence.
