Our Human Resource department is seeking a Senior Technical Trainer who will be responsible for providing technical training and support to all firm personnel by conducting training programs along with preparing corresponding outlines, handouts, and course materials. The Technical Trainer will serve as an integral member of the technology team to evaluate, test, customize, and train on new software applications to be deployed throughout the firm. This position can be based in any of our offices.

Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver high-quality training and technical support experiences to firm personnel with tailored presentations on Office 365, iManage Work 10, BigHand Forms and - - - Numbering, Adobe DC Pro, Visio, Best Authority, Workshare Compare, DocuSign, Teams, Smartsheets, OneDrive, WebEx, Zoom, Intapp Time, OneNote, DocXtools and other general and practice specific software.
- Facilitate highly effective instructor-led and virtual technical training classes through Teams, WebEx, and Zoom platforms in multiple time zones.
- Research, plan, organize, and conduct classroom trainings, demonstrations and on‑one‑on sessions for all firm personnel.
- Provide in-depth computer orientation to new hires while imparting organizational practices and policies.
- Administer surveys to evaluate the effectiveness and satisfaction of eLearning and instructor-led learning courses, and create improvements as required.
- Maintain accurate, high quality training materials and eLearning videos.
- Identify opportunities and develops new technical classes for continuing education and professional development.
- Organize and oversee the new hire orientation program and provide computer training to all Fenwick personnel.
- Collaborate and work closely with the Director and training team on the new hire orientation program, deployment of new technologies and the development of new training programs.
- Evaluate, customize, test, and train on the deployment of new software products to be integrated throughout the firm.
- Prepare and distribute training aids including instructional materials, handouts, evaluation forms and visual aids in written and video format.
- Maintain and work with the BigHand vendor to customize macros and templates for ease‑of‑use and to ensure compliance with court requirements.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Advanced knowledge and experience required with Microsoft Office 365, iManage Work 10, Intapp Time, Workshare, Best Authority, Chrome River, Adobe, Forms Workflow, BigHand Forms and Numbering Assistant, and viDesktop Learning Management System.
- Knowledge of viDesktop to populate Learning Management System with scheduled courses, descriptions, and registration links.
- Ability to communicate concisely and thoroughly, in both verbal and written form, with Firm personnel, outside consultants and vendors.
- Ability to administer organized presentations and create productive learning environments for users at all levels.
- Ability to communicate complex technology concepts, unfamiliar ideas and solutions in a clear, concise manner.
- Strong time management and organizational skills in a busy project and training-oriented environment
- Self-motivated and can work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic learning environment.
- Effective team player who promotes the group’s goals and projects while supporting other team members ideas in a collaborative, respectful working environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to evaluate, research/troubleshoot problems and to devise solutions and alternatives.
- Self-starter with the ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Ability to learn and teach new technologies quickly for immediate integration.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service and show courtesy and respect to all firm personnel.
- Availability to travel periodically.

Reporting to the Director of Employee Training and Development, the qualified candidate will have 5+ years' experience and 3 years of technical training experience preferably in a law firm or professional services environment. Microsoft Office Certification is a plus. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required.
