Position Summary:

The Professional Development (PD) Coordinator is a highly motivated individual with excellent attention to detail to coordinate professional development initiatives. The PD Coordinator is a member of the Professional Development team and reports to a Professional Development Manager. This position will have a regional focus can be based in our Atlanta, Boston, Miami, Philadelphia, or Washington, D.C. office. Candidate should also be flexible to work overtime as needed.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Supports the Director of Professional Development and the Professional Development Managers in delivering firmwide, practice specific and
local office training. This includes the following:
- Managing program logistics including scheduling, registration, materials, and logistics including conference room facilities, catering and
- Serving as a point of contact for internal presenters and outside consultants and vendors
- Providing on-site support for training programs (post-COVID19)
- Drafting and distributing program invitations, communications and materials
- Reviewing and extracting attendance reports and recording attendance
- Sending course evaluations and compiles results
- Participates in PD department “speed teams” that work on special projects
- Assists with regional associate orientation and integration
- Works collaboratively with the PD Managers and/or Marketing to coordinate and implement training programs, including large-scale PD
- Programs, skills-based workshops, and individual training classes
- Supports additional initiatives and programs that promote attorney development
- Assists with procedures for CLE-eligible programs including gaining a working understanding of regional CLE rules
- Builds rapport with associates
- Evaluates and recommends process improvements to ensure controls and department efficiency
- Provides general back-up support to the PD team (director, managers and coordinators)
- Assists with special projects and collaborate with other firm departments as needed
- Assumes other responsibilities as needed to support the Professional Development team

ability to convey information clearly
- Position also requires the ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines, adapt to a fast paced high pressure environment to achieve
business goals and objectives
- High attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of the organization and collaborate well in a team
- Provides outstanding client service. Proactive in helping others

Qualifications & Prior Experience:

- Bachelor’s degree with a focus on adult learning or equivalent professional development experience, preferably with a law firm or other fast-
paced professional services organization
- Exceptional computer skills with the ability to learn new software applications quickly
- Proficiency with Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel
- Background with Micron CE Manager, Zoom, BlueJeans (or other similar tools) is preferred
