Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop lawyers, through training and individual or group coaching, across a variety of professional development areas.

Help lawyers make informed decisions about their careers by identifying professional goals and creating action plans for reaching these goals.

Serve as a confidential resource for attorneys as they seek to improve professional skills and reach career goals.

Develop and participate in professional skills training programming, attorney retreats, alumni events, and entry level and summer associate training academies.

Provide guidance and assistance to attorneys in networking with firm clients, alumni and friends of the firm.

Provide guidance and assistance to attorneys pursuing alternative career paths.

Manage bank of career opportunities with clients and alumni.

Support the development of a culture that attracts, develops and retains top talent.

Manage additional special projects on behalf of the Legal Career Coaching & Planning team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality.

Exhibit strong professional judgment.

Natural ability to build trust with coaching clients, partners and other stakeholders.

Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and management skills.

Outstanding presentation skills; confident speaking before large groups.

Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and teams.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor’s degree required.

Professional coaching certification required.

At least 6-7 years of professional experience preferred.

Locations: Atlanta, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, Philadelphia, Silicon Valley, New York or Washington, D.C.
