SUMMARY:
The Manager of Legal Career Coaching & Planning will be a member of the Legal Talent Department and will report to the Director of Legal Career Coaching & Planning. The Manager of Legal Career Coaching & Planning will provide confidential coaching to attorneys, and develop and participate in professional skills training programs to support individual professional development and long-term career goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop lawyers, through training and individual or group coaching, across a variety of professional development areas.
• Help lawyers make informed decisions about their careers by identifying professional goals and creating action plans for reaching these goals.
• Serve as a confidential resource for attorneys as they seek to improve professional skills and reach career goals.
• Develop and participate in professional skills training programming, attorney retreats, alumni events, and entry level and summer associate training academies.
• Provide guidance and assistance to attorneys in networking with firm clients, alumni and friends of the firm.
• Provide guidance and assistance to attorneys pursuing alternative career paths.
• Manage bank of career opportunities with clients and alumni.
• Support the development of a culture that attracts, develops and retains top talent.
• Manage additional special projects on behalf of the Legal Career Coaching & Planning team.

• Outstanding presentation skills; confident speaking before large groups.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and teams.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Professional coaching certification required.
• At least 6-7 years of professional experience required.
