Burns & Levinson, a mid-sized Boston based law firm, is looking for an experienced Director of Legal Recruiting to work in conjunction with our Human Resources and Professional Development teams.

The Director of Legal Recruiting is responsible for all aspects of the legal recruiting function across all offices, including associates, summer associates, law clerks, technical specialists, patent agents, lateral partners, of counsel, and groups. She/he will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer (COO), Managing Partner(s), and Practice Group Leaders (PGLs) to assess legal recruitment needs and to develop and implement recruiting strategies and goals. Works closely with the Firm's Human Resources, Professional Development, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion teams.

Candidates should have 5+ years of human resources and recruitment experience with a focus on attorneys and professional staff. Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree or Law Degree preferred.

Successful candidates will have:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills;
• Highly developed interpersonal skills including effective interviewing, strong organizational and management skills;
• Leadership ability, collaborating interests and teaching/mentoring ability. The ability to be a member of a collegial, supportive, and collaborative management/leadership team;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including group decision making and conflict resolution; and
• Computer proficiency, including Microsoft products, viGlobal, applicant tracking systems, etc.

Part-time or full-time may be considered. Travel may be required from time to time. Remote working may be available on a hybrid basis.
