This position can sit in either our Chicago, Reston, or Washington, DC office.

Minimum Requirements:
-BA/BS degree in Organization Development, Training or similar field
-5 years of experience in Professional Development and/or professional services environment
-Knowledge of Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) rules administration in California, Illinois, and New York, and ability to understand other jurisdictions
-Experience using CE Manager and viGlobal
-Possess strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
-Possess excellent project management, administrative, and research skills
-Must be a detail-oriented and critical thinker with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

What will your day look like?
As a CLE Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for firm lawyers, Marketing, and program sponsors regarding CLE accreditation. You will work closely with the Sr Professional Development Manager to maintain accredited provider status.

You will respond to lawyer, staff, and program sponsor inquiries about CLE rules and requirements. You will analyze, interpret, apply and monitor the CLE rules, regulations, and guidelines of individual state jurisdictions where firm lawyers practice. You will make final assessments of the CLE creditworthiness for proposed programs and obtain CLE accreditation in accordance with the rules and procedures of jurisdictions where the firm is not CLE accredited.

You will also validate attendance and distribute certificates for all firm CLE programs. You will be responsible for sending, monitoring, and reviewing approved and denied CLE course applications in all states. You will prepare and submit necessary compliance reports and renewal applications to maintain the firm’s CLE provider status. You will also support the firm’s lawyers by researching historical data and material from prior firm programs and external providers.
