OVERVIEW
The CLE Coordinator is responsible for the daily coordination and facilitation of firm wide CLE programs and CLE compliance for lawyers. The CLE Coordinator will work closely with the Talent Development department establishing and maintaining accredited provider status, as applicable, and aggregating CLE compliance knowledge when administering CLE courses and supporting individual lawyer compliance requirements. This is a non-exempt position that can be based in any of our US offices (Chicago, NY, LA, or DC).

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
CLE Training and Programs:

Provide daily direction and oversight for the CLE function
Work with the appropriate CLE sponsors to ensure appropriate training materials are received and meet accreditation standards
Manage CLE processes and approvals for firm-wide training and weekly CLE programs
Work with Talent Development and Business Development teams on Client CLE Courses
Stay aware of current issues and regulation changes in CLE and informs the department
Suggest ways to improve our processes and programs
Work closely with the Manager of Continuing Legal Education to assist with CLE initiatives, including but not limited to:

Tracking firm-wide usage of the Micron CLE tracking database
Maintaining attorney CLE records and status reports
Monitoring and maintaining state CLE requirements
Managing annual CLE accreditation processes and ensure ongoing compliance requirements for approved providers in all jurisdictions
Creating and maintaining CLE training calendar and CLE intranet page and resources
Trouble shooting issues and addressing attorney and secretary inquiries as they relate to training and CLE
Ensuring that materials are properly prepared for all programs
Ensuring that sign in sheets and other requirements are properly executed and maintained, including: presentation slides, timed agendas and other required documentation
Monitoring individual attorney compliance and liaise as necessary for any noncompliance issues
Other Tasks and Activities:

Assist in routine department tasks which vary widely in level of complexity
Create and distribute ad hoc projects as required

QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrates the ability to deliver high quality work while maintaining a customer service focus. A professional with experience in training, with an understanding of a law firm or professional services environment.

College degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
2+ years of CLE specific work experience in a law firm environment. Demonstrated knowledge of jurisdictional CLE compliance rules and regulations.
Able to work with a team of highly-skilled professionals in situations that require diplomacy and confidentiality
Able to maintain a good rapport with various personnel at all levels
Proficient in basic computer applications including: CE Manager, Windows XP and Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) -proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using SharePoint a plus
Possess project management skills, sound business judgment and the ability to multi-task
Must be detailed oriented and a critical thinker
Possess excellent organizational, verbal and written communication and phone skills
Must have excellent proofreading skills
