About Jane

Three publications you would recommend for anyone who does what you do:

Ida Abbott's "Lawyer's Professional Development," which is missing from my bookcase because I constantly loan it out; "Difficult Conversations," because they happen constantly in many different guises; and anything by David Maister.

What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?

Open a small boutique in my neighborhood.

What is the best vacation you have ever taken?

In 2008, I took a 2 month sabbatical and traveled around the world - South Africa, Botswana, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand and Fiji. Spectacular from start to finish!

What is your favorite family tradition?

Our traditions have evolved over the years, but we all still get together on Christmas day at my sister's house.

Favorite guilty pleasure?

Reading "Entertainment Weekly" on Friday evenings. I get my dose of celebrity news and all the scoop on movies, TV shows, and books.
