Will we see you at the 2022 PDI Conference?
The Professional Development Institute (PDI) Conference is a collaboration between the PDC, NALP, and ALI-CLE and registration is now open!
Taking place December 1-2 at the Conrad Hotel in Washington, DC (note the new location!), the conference is THE place to be for PD professionals. Whether you recently joined the PD community, or have been in the industry for years, you will leave the conference with timely, helpful information to bring back to your firm or organization.
Every year at the conference, PD professionals generously share resources, ideas, speaker suggestions, curriculum outlines, program agendas, wins they achieved, and pitfalls to avoid. We perform environmental scanning to see what our community is struggling with and share market data to bring back to our firms.
The speakers have been hard at work to create programs that are relevant and insightful for YOU. Program topics this year include professional identity formation, retention, burnout, individual and small group coaching, feedback, mentorship, and mental health and wellness. Not only will you be able to attend programs relevant to your PD role, but you will also get the opportunity to work on your professional development by attending programs on leadership, adding value, recruiting and retaining team members, and changing jobs in the hybrid environment.
The Pre-Conference Workshop: Management Foundations for PD Professionals is on November 30. The PDC recommends this workshop for new(er) PD professionals as it reviews many concepts, fundamental skills, and knowledge.
