Meet the Presenters

Holly Barocio, Principal Consultant, GrowthPlay

Holly Barocio is a Principal Consultant with GrowthPlay. Prior to joining the GrowthPlay Team, Holly was the head of a marketing and client servicesdepartment of a mid-size, full service law firm based in Chicago. She was responsible for the strategic planning and execution of the firm’s business development, marketing and public relations efforts. In addition, she was an active member of the firm’s Marketing Committee, Diversity & Inclusion Committee, Women’s Network, Hiring Committee and Green Committee.

Throughout the past decade, Holly has held various leadership positions in the legal industry. She is a board member of the Legal and Professional Services Council, public member of the External Communications Committee of Illinois Legal Aid Online and serves on the Legal Marketing Association’s Diversity and Inclusion Task Force. She is the former vice chair of various NALP work groups and former board president of the Chicago Association of Legal Personnel Administrators. She is also board president of Rampage Women’s Hockey.

Holly has presented at several national conferences, including the NALP Annual Education Conference and Legal Marketing Association’s Annual Conference. She also served on the Legal Marketing Association’s Your Honor Awards International Judging Panel in 2016 and 2017. Holly graduated from the University of Michigan. She is an avid ice hockey player and fan, home improvement DIYer and Chicago foodie.

Sarah Oremland, Senior Consultant, GrowthPlay

Sarah has a unique blend of skills with both direct sales and sales management experience in addition to a background in clinical social work.  Sarah joins GrowthPlay after receiving her Masters of Social Work from the University of Chicago.  Alongside her studies, Sarah worked in a variety of community-based agencies and institutions to facilitate change at both the micro and macro level.  She provided individual psychotherapy, co-facilitated group therapy, developed and implemented training and educational programs, and led policy-planning sessions.
  
Prior to attending graduate school, Sarah was a Sales Manager at Meltwater Group, a privately-held, global SaaS company as the lead for the online media monitoring sector. As part of the management team, she also identified, recruited, trained and developed new and high potential talent within the organization which contributed to the improved performance of the team while also growing and expanding her division.

Sarah is a results-oriented professional with experience in a wide variety of industry segments from associations to healthcare to social service to SaaS companies. She is a strategist with a proven record of developing creative solutions and implementing best practices to maximize company performance, increase revenue, solidify long-term client loyalty and build high performing teams.

Sarah graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor of Science and earned her Masters of Social Work from the University of Chicago- School of Social Service Administration.
